Differed Maintenance Improvements
An older home in Costa Mesa has many small repair projects (some larger than others) After pressure washing the exterior of the house, termite damage was noted at a couple windows. Some rotted wood was already know to exist at the basses of a few doors and at the entry porch support posts. Pressure washing definitely helped to clean up the exterior of the home!
This home actually has a "laundry list" of improvement projects that need to be done. Such As ; Replacement light fixtures, new smoke alarm/carbon monoxide detectors, doorbell components (chime, transformer, button), re-finish the kitchen and bathroom cabinets, replace rotted exterior door jambs and trim, replace rotted fascia, exterior painting (such as the doors, window shutters, roof fascias, window sills and trim, door thresholds), gout and seal the master bathroom shower, HVAC thermostat controls, cabinet hinges, ...etc
The door thresholds all need repair. Being done one-by-one.
Before/after pics of cleaning a rain gutter and cleaning the roof eave, so that I can scrape, prime and re-paint.
I started to dissect the termite damaged window trim/jamb. A couple good things happen. First the termites only damaged the pine window jamb and didn't hurt the wood wall framing or trim. Second, I was able to remove these pieces without breaking the glass :)
