Interior Remodeling
A home in Laguna Niguel undergoes an interior remodel of 2 bathrooms, all new flooring and baseboard moldings, electrical, plumbing, painting and more.
The home was stripped of the flooring, baseboards and bathrooms.
Well, a large "plumbing day" was necessary in order to install the new tub/shower valves. Before that could happen we had to notify 9 other units that were attached to the main water line. (poor designing, if you asked me) since the water was to be shut off, we also planned replacements of all of the angle stop valves at faucets and toilet, plus valve replacements at the water hater and refrigerator. Valves were upgraded from gate valves to ball valves.I was also able to find the main water line entering the unit, so I was able to add an isolation water main valve in the master bathroom (which shut off this unit (so we now don't bother 9 other neighbors when we have a water valve to repair/replace!) Since I was adding a new "main" I was able to get the other 9 units back in operation in just a couple hours and then proceed with my work the rest of the day without neighbors getting upset, as well!
New bath tubs were installed.
Tub/shower faucets, drains and enclosures were replaced. Insulation was also added to reduce noise.
Flooring has also be installed throughout the baths and home.
At this time the Interior is being completely re-painted. and the bathrooms are being tiled. all of the outlets, switches and smoke/CO detectors were replaced and upgraded. All of the widows and exterior doors were replaced as well.
The lower 3 pictures show the hall bathroom with the new tub/shower enclosure and fixture, plus the new vanity cabinet, faucet and mirror
