Interior Remodeling Help
A home in Mission Viejo needed some remodeling help, where the owners couldn't seem to get the right contractors to show up, complete their work and/or do it right.....
While it started out that I was to help with some light framing, preparation for fireplace rock work and some drywall patching and texturing, The job turned into a lot more framing and drywall plus kitchen cabinet installations.

Bedroom opening was to be closed off from the living room area. The walls still need a lot of work to smooth out the drywall before texturing and painting.
The kitchen cabinets had to be installed, cabinet partition walls needed to be framed, and right away so that they could be measured for new marble counter tops in a couple days. But the plumber and electrician had also just left a lot of openings in the walls
The framing was modified at the face of the fireplace the make it more "streamline" and less "jagged".
Rock work has begun. "Stacked Stone" is being install on the face (up 15ft high) and also the side (8ft)
The kitchen is starting to look good. They got the solid marble counter top installed and the fixtures and appliances. Plus their back splash. While the owners are actually doing the tile work on the back splash (with the use of my tools and guidance) I'm focusing on patching the drywall and rocking the fireplace.
(More progress was also completed with the fireplace too, The stacked stone rock work now is a little bit over 8ft tall (15ft tall in all), plus the drywall is about ready to texture and paint.
Finished the fireplace :) This one took 2 half days and 2 full days of labor. 5 1/2ft wide 15ft tall and the side wall is 28in wide and 8ft tall.
