Water pipe damage repair to bathroom
Before:
The copper water supply pipes were getting old, deteriorating, and had "pin hole" leaks forming. The pipes had to be replaced with plastic Pex lines and caused lots or holes in sheetrock. Needless to say, also trim, flooring and cabinets. This Mission Viejo, CA client only had 58" so couldn't use a standard 60" cabinet, so we used a 48" vanity cabinet with a pre-formed counter top and sink. Backsplash was added as well. Various drywall/sheet rock repairs and to be performed including texture matching and painting of the walls, ceilings and trim.
After:
New vanity cabinet, light fixture (installed above mirror), new glass/tile backsplash, new faucet, counter top with built-in sink, new angle stop valves, p-trap and GFCI outlet. Walls were also insulated for added soundproofing and privacy for the bathroom.
(Different Project: Same/Similar Problem)
Although a different home in Mission Viejo, the plumbing supply piping had "pin hole leaks" in the concrete slab of the home. This water damaged sections of the hardwood laminate flooring (which I repaired/patched) While the home also had to undergo a complete re-routing and changing of the copper supply piping to Plastic Pex Piping and drywall repairs/painting, new angle stop valves and new faucet upgrades.
